Maxspect TrueReef Gouda Cheese is a filter lens designed for the iPhone for photographing reef aquariums. It reduces intense blue color casts and helps to capture coral colors and fluorescence more clearly directly with your phone.

For managing blue light

The monomer-coated filter reflects a portion of the intense blue light. The goal is to balance the image without the dominant hue of a strong yellow filter. The final color reproduction also depends on the aquarium lighting and the camera's white balance.

Mounting and shooting

The magnetic mount fits compatible iPhone and case combinations. Ensure that the filter is positioned in front of the lens you are using.

Shoot as perpendicularly as possible against the aquarium glass and reduce reflections from room lights. Adjust exposure downward if necessary to preserve details in bright corals.
