Filter Sock 4" (10.5cm) – Polypropylene Felt

Filter sock made of polypropylene felt for mechanical filtration in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The filter sock collects debris, food residue, and other suspended solids from the water before they reach other filtration stages in the sump.

• For mechanical water filtration
• Collects suspended solids and debris from the water
• Diameter 10.5 cm / 4"
• Cleanable and reusable

Usage

The filter sock can be installed directly into a compatible filter sock holder in the sump. If the sump does not have a pre-installed holder, a separate sock stand or holder can be purchased for the filter sock.

Product is delivered without a filter sock holder.

Clean or replace the sock regularly to prevent reduced water flow and to ensure that organic material collected by the sock does not decompose in the aquarium system.
